Research Area
While I am currently considering a more applied
approach to mathematical biology, my dissertation research consisted of
the study of certain abstract dynamical systems called monotone systems,
which are associated with positive feedback and have strong stability
properties. Using ideas from control theory, some
non-monotone systems were studied using ideas from monotone systems
theory. Applications were given to delay and reaction diffusion
equations in molecular biology.
